Student Visa (Subclass 500)
The Student Visa (Subclass 500) allows international students to live in Australia while completing an eligible course at a registered educational institution. This visa covers school, VET, higher education, postgraduate study, non-award courses, and ELICOS English programs.
To apply for a Student Visa, you must have a valid Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) and meet several requirements including English proficiency, Genuine Student criteria, financial capacity, health checks, and health insurance (OSHC).
The length of the visa depends on the length of your course. For example
- If your course is less than 10 months, the visa is usually granted to finish 1 month after your course.
- If your course is more than 10 months and ends between January–October, the visa typically finishes 2 months after the course.
- If your course ends between November–December, the visa usually lasts until 15 March the following year, to align with the Australian academic calendar.
This visa also allows limited work rights while studying, giving students the chance to gain work experience, support themselves, and build connections in Australia.
At 3BEES EDUCATION & VISA SERVICES, we help students prepare the required documents, understand the visa rules, and ensure the application meets Department of Home Affairs guidelines.
Visitor Visa (Subclass 600)
The Visitor Visa (Subclass 600) is designed for individuals who want to travel to Australia for tourism, visiting family and friends, or short-term business activities. Depending on your situation, the visa may be granted for 3, 6, or 12 months, with single or multiple entries.
The main requirement for this visa is proving that you are a genuine temporary visitor, meaning you plan to stay only for a short period and return to your home country. You may need to show strong ties to your country, financial capacity, travel plans, and reasons for visiting.
The Visitor Visa includes several streams such as:
Tourist stream
Sponsored family stream
Business visitor stream
Frequent traveller stream
Each stream has different evidence requirements. For example, the sponsored family stream requires a formal sponsorship from your relative in Australia.
This visa is ideal for holidays, family reunions, short business meetings, or attending events. Our team helps applicants choose the correct stream and prepare a complete, compliant application to avoid delays or refusals.
Temporary Graduate Visa (Subclass 485)
The Temporary Graduate Visa (Subclass 485) allows eligible international students who recently completed an Australian qualification to stay and work in Australia temporarily. This visa helps graduates gain practical experience, improve employability, and in many cases, plan a pathway toward permanent residency.
The 485 visa has two main streams:
Graduate Work Stream – for occupations on the relevant skilled list
Post-Study Work Stream – for graduates of higher education degrees
To apply, you must:
Have completed a CRICOS-registered course
Meet English requirements
Hold an eligible Student Visa at some point during your studies
Provide Australian Federal Police (AFP) checks
Meet work and health insurance requirements
The length of stay depends on your qualification, ranging from 18 months to 4–6 years for certain degrees.
3BEES helps graduates understand their eligibility, gather documents, apply on time, and plan their next migration step.
Partner Visa (Subclass 309/100 and 820/801)
Partner Visas allow individuals to live in Australia with their Australian spouse or de facto partner. The offshore Partner Visa pathway is Subclass 309 (temporary) and Subclass 100 (permanent). The onshore pathway is Subclass 820 (temporary) and Subclass 801 (permanent).
The Partner Visa is a two-stage process. Applicants first receive a temporary visa, and after demonstrating the ongoing genuine relationship, they may receive the permanent visa.
You must prove:
A genuine, continuing relationship
Shared financial responsibilities
Cohabitation or evidence of intent to live together
Social recognition of the partnership
Commitment to a long-term future
The Department of Home Affairs requires significant relationship evidence, such as photos, statements, joint accounts, shared bills, travel, and communication records.
Because Partner Visas are heavily scrutinised, incomplete or inconsistent evidence can lead to delays or refusal.
We help applicants prepare thorough relationship documentation and ensure sponsors meet all eligibility conditions.
Employer-Sponsored Visas (Subclass 186, 482, 494, 407)
Employer-Sponsored Visas allow skilled workers to work in Australia when an employer cannot find a suitable Australian candidate. These visas can lead to temporary or permanent residency depending on the subclass.
Subclass 482 (TSS Visa) – Temporary Skill Shortage
Allows employers to sponsor skilled workers temporarily. Occupations must be on the skilled list, and applicants must meet skill, English, work experience, and health requirements.
Subclass 186 (ENS Visa) – Employer Nomination Scheme
A permanent residency visa where an employer nominates a skilled worker for a permanent role.
Subclass 494 – Skilled Employer-Sponsored Regional
For skilled workers who wish to live and work in regional Australia. Offers a pathway to permanent residency after three years.
Subclass 407 – Training Visa
For people who need workplace training to improve their skills or meet registration requirements in their home country.
These visas require nomination by an approved business, proof of skills, employer documentation, and compliance with Australian labour standards.
3BEES supports both employers and applicants to prepare compliant, complete applications.
Skilled Migration Visas (Subclass 189, 190, 491, 489, 191)
Skilled Migration Visas are points-tested visas for skilled workers who want to live and work in Australia permanently or provisionally.
Subclass 189 – Skilled Independent
A permanent visa for highly skilled individuals without requiring state or employer sponsorship.
Subclass 190 – Skilled Nominated
A permanent visa requiring nomination by an Australian state or territory.
Subclass 491 – Skilled Work Regional (Provisional)

Subclass 489 – Older provisional visa (transitional cases only).
Applicants must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI), meet minimum points, pass a skills assessment, demonstrate English proficiency, and meet health and character requirements.
We guide clients through every step — from skills assessments to EOI submissions and state nomination requirements.
Parent Visas (Subclass 870, 173, 804, 864, 143)
Parent Visas allow parents of Australian permanent residents or citizens to stay in Australia temporarily or permanently.
Subclass 870 – Sponsored Parent (Temporary)
Allows parents to stay for up to 3 or 5 years at a time without the need for a balance-of-family test.
Subclass 173 and 143 – Contributory Parent Visas
Allow permanent migration to Australia, with faster processing in exchange for higher government charges.
Subclass 804 and 864 – Aged Parent Visas
For parents above Australian pension age, offering temporary or permanent pathways.
Requirements may include:
Sponsorship by an eligible child in Australia
Meeting the balance-of-family test (for permanent visas)
Assurance of Support bonds
Health and character checks
Parent visas can be complex, with long processing times depending on the category. We help families understand which option suits their circumstances and prepare accurate applications.
